Holiday Activities
Parents asked us to let them know about the different activities and clubs available during the school holidays, be it holiday clubs providing childcare or activities to keep their children active and interested. Our first listing came out in Summer '08 and we're trying to find more activities each time we produce a leaflet. You can view the latest list by clicking on the image below.
There are some fantastic holiday activities available locally, from sports activities to craft and drama activities and children’s multi-activity weeks. In response to your requests, we’ve tried to include more for our older pupils, so on our leaflets check out the activities indicated with a Good for Teens flash.
Currently we produce leaflets for the SUMMER, CHRISTMAS and EASTER holidays. Although we aren't producing leaflets for the half term holidays, you'll find that lots of the organisations listed provide clubs and activities at half terms too. So for HALF TERM holidays, click on a leaflet below and call some of the organisations listed.
Many of the schools in the Confederation run a number of clubs and activities before, during and after the school day. They may also run or host activities during the holidays. Some of these are extended to children outside the school and to adults in the community.
Activities offered to your child at his/her school
To find out what is offered for your child at the school he/she attends, click on the link for the school on the Home Page.
Activities which are open to ALL in the community, not just the school's students - Some activities are open to anyone, even if they don't attend that school. Some of these are listed below. They do change, so please contact the schools themselves for the most up-to-date information: click on the links to access the schools' own websites and find contact information:
